Gas Prices Rise Up For Thanksgiving, Highest Since 2012


If you noticed gas prices were a bit steep yesterday, that’s because it is.

Much to the shock of consumers, gas prices went up to an average of $3.40 per gallon on Monday this week, three days before Thanksgiving. According to a report by the US Energy Information Administration, this is the highest price during Thanksgiving week since 2012. This price is a 62% increase compared to the price before thanksgiving last year.
